There are two basic types of insurance that cover the cost of eye care, health insurance and vision insurance. Medical eye examinations are approved by all major health insurance plans. Routine eye exams, glasses & contacts are covered by vision plans. Which to file depends upon the reason a patient needs to see the doctor.
Our goal is to provide the eye care services you need without creating undue financial burden. Although you are responsible for co-pays and deductibles on the day of your visit, we will avoid as much out-of pocket expense for you as possible. Here's how:
- We accept Medicare & Medicaid assignment and research & verify your insurance coverage
- We bill most insurance companies directly and accept most PPO & HMO plans
- Our trained insurance staff will assist you in filing your claims
